The Road Opens October 16th
Finally, The Road, a big budget film shot in a post apocalyptic world of the future, shot in places like Braddock, Erie and other Pittsburgh regional locations opens. The mayor may not like it but the post apocalyptic business is huge.
They were shooting this way back in 2007 and release has been delayed by about a year. A lot of the film crew started hanging out at Barbs Country Kitchen where I met a few.
The Road joins Night Of the Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, Silence Of The Lambs and The Deer Hunter in the list of movies which exploit the regional landscape.
